The Central Campus of Lumbini Buddhist University conducted a strategic interaction on the ongoing admission process under the chairmanship of the Campus Chief, with the participation of faculty members, administrative staff, and Information Technology personnel.

The discussion focused on strategies to increase student enrollment across all academic programs by promoting the University’s academic strengths, employment-oriented curricula, career prospects, and future opportunities for graduates. Participants also emphasized the importance of retaining students within the University through quality education, supportive learning environments, and enhanced student services.

The meeting reaffirmed the University’s commitment to ensuring that financial limitations do not hinder access to higher education. Discussions highlighted the expansion of scholarship opportunities across all academic streams, effective implementation of the Government of Nepal’s provision for a minimum 10 percent scholarship for eligible students, and the University’s vision of prioritizing educational access and student welfare over revenue generation.

Participants further discussed strengthening physical infrastructure, including the development of hostel facilities for students from distant regions, and continuously enhancing academic programs to meet evolving employment and industry demands.

The interaction concluded with a collective commitment to implementing practical strategies that will strengthen admissions, expand scholarship opportunities, improve infrastructure and student support services, and further establish the Central Campus as a leading destination for quality, inclusive, and employment-oriented higher education.
